Would like a power (on/off) switch on the "Room Side" of the unit, Changing batteries sets off the double tap to open/close. If the wand is off the blind this messes up the calibration. Also might be nice to temporarily de-activate the wand locally

Same - I have to remember to turn off double tap before changing batteries or the wand spins uncontrollably. Maybe have a temporary pause button in the app so it doesn't go off accidentally

Lesson learned - I disable double-tap before changing batteries. It would be great if the firmware disabled double tap for (say) 30s after power up so one can screw the cap in tightly without the wand going bananas!

It would also be OK to have a button in the app to temporarily disable the wand, so I can change batteries. Also, when the cleaning people start to dust and clean, they set off the double-tap feature accidentally.
