Notifications for low battery and connection issues

Got a notification for this yesterday. Unfortunately it was AFTER I already changed my batteries. Seems like it doesn’t update battery life very quickly. I also agree a “disconnected” notification would be helpful.

Adam Zilberbaum: Will the user be able to set the battery threshold at which the notification email is triggered? As an example, can I set it to send me an email when the batteries are less than 45%?

Scott R: Right now this is triggered at 10%, but this would be a good update!

This evening, I was manually updating my three wands, but one was showing disconnected. Looks like its rechargeables are totally dead (which is odd, because that side of the house faces south, so I would have assumed good solar charging). In support of this feature request, a "hey, X wand is disconnected" notification would have been helpful because, as-is, I only had a vague notion that those blinds weren't operating on the normal schedule and now that I'm looking at that wand's settings, it looks like that's been the case for 56,000 minutes. :P

I find that the battery percentage isn’t always accurate. I had a wand that was offline for a week - the battery percentage was still around 50%, but as soon as I put in fresh batteries, the wand immediately reconnected and started working again.

Yes, a push notification for low battery would be great.

I agree with this and it would be nice if the wand could detect it cannot connect to the network and self reboot. It would also be cool for it to cache the most recent schedule it was sent for it to operate offline
